THE TUMMY TUCK SURGICAL TECHNIQUE
Abdominoplasty usually involves an incision along the lower waistline and around the navel. The abdominal muscles are restored to their normal position, and excess skin and tissue are removed. This procedure is often combined with liposuction to improve the overall contour of the abdomen and flank regions. Surgical drains are usually placed to assist with healing and prevent fluid accumulation under the incisions. It is important to keep in mind that a tummy tuck surgery is a major cosmetic surgery and it requires general anesthesia and likely a recovery period of around two to six weeks before fully resuming normal activities.
WHAT IS COSMETIC SURGERY RECOVERY LIKE?

A surgical dressing and an abdominal binder are placed during the procedure, as this will help with swelling and support.
